Always wanted to become an 'R' user but just not found the time to get going? This course is designed to get you rapidly to a ‘competent user’ level from which to build your own wider skills base.

The course is designed to teach your how to manipulate and graphically represent your data in R, and how to undertake basic univariate and multivariate (modelling) analyses. The course includes:
- A basic introduction to R: loading, screens, syntax, functions, data formats.
- Tools for data exploration: descriptive summaries, central tendency measures, graphs, data distributions and transformation.
- Statistical testing in R: running and interpreting tests for associations, differences and relationships.
- Overview of extending this knowledge beyond the course i.e. statistical modelling.
PLEASE NOTE: if you have a a group of 6 or more people who wish to have QGIS training, we are happy to come to your venue to deliver the course (we just need a room with Wi-Fi).
